3ds max help request

I downloaded 3ds max and would really like to start modeling, but when I try to start it, I get an error message saying it can't find something in AcGe16.dll. I downloaded this dll file separately, but that didn't help at all. Does anyone know how I can get the program to work?

Did you have any spyware/virus blocker, firewall, etc. running when you installed or tried running it?

I had the same problem when I tried to install the 30-day trial version.
Download the file AcGe16.dll (or look in your system) and copy it to
C:\Programme\Common Files\System (or something like that)

I'm not sure if I had to change some internal link to this file to get 3dmax starting (look at link of sharick)

But dont forget to reboot after copying the file.

Yes, I had Spysweeper and McAfee Security Center running. Is that a problem?
