Everything is tuned to how everyone suggests with slow turns, animations disabled etc. Defender turned off (no difference) and priority set higher.
Turn times were less than 10 secs until I met a few barbarians and then we're at 5-6 minutes!!!
It's unplayable!
I've restarted, drivers are all bang up to date. WTF is going on? Before anyone mentions specs, turns are fast until I meet barbs. I have a Asus ROG Gaming Laptop that's easy enough to play.
