Thank you so far for these units.

While I continue to allow normal Armies, I am using them Semi-Armies.

I have set them as autoproduce by the palace (longest interval 100 turns) and as a optional update for the Leader.

The second option is more or less to avoid having scientific Leaders hanging useless around after all wonders are build (not by me alone ;) ).
But the KI seems to use at least some of their military Leaders for creating a Semi-Army. ;)

To give some Ideas about their use:

1. Palace Guard (2/3/1, basic Semi-Army, autoproduced by Palace)
2. Landsknecht Doppelsöldner (4/4/1, king unit, Feudalism)
3. Landsknecht Arquebusier (4/5/1, king unit, Gunpowder)

4. Cannon Corps (8/6/1, king unit, Metallurgy)
5. Artillery Corps (8/6/2, king unit, Metallurgy + Horses)
6. Late Artillery Corps (12/8/2, king unit, Replacable Parts)

7. Tank Corps and Panzer Korps (16/10/2, king unit, Motor. Trans.)

A perfect addition would be a late Battle Corps (Synthetic Fibers) with a core of Main Battle Tanks in both NATO and Warsaw Pact flavour. ;)

Yes, this was the intention behind doing this kind of units - and Wotan49 did them masterly! :)

Thank you for the good words

[c3c] the idea would be an M48 against the T54 with appropriate accompaniment?:grouphug:

At present I´m not planning a cold war scenario, but of course other modders can find this very interesting. :)

For the update of SOE may be the WW II combination of a Pz III and a mechanic infantry unit (SdKFZ 250 or 251), a Sherman and a M2 or M3, a T-34 and mobile infantry and so on could be interesting as a substitute for army units. The tanks and the corresponding mechanized infantry units can be found in the CCM2 folders of mid and later era 3.

I know that I am coming late to this thread (and many others) but I have been unable to "be" here for quite some time. I am delighted that you're still having fun with these m-units, and that your proficiency has reached the ":clap::clap:" level. I am looking forward to using them, very much.

@Wotan49 - I'm finally actively working on "Terra Fantasia." When it's done, you'll see many, many of the escorted artillery units (sheer genius, and much needed) as well as Musket and Pike formations, in play. :thanx:
