So, this is more of a yes/no question.

I have 100% GLOBAL rebel sentiment (you know, in the F-3 window). I'm playing Northwest passage, but I have all victory conditions (including Independence) ticked off. My reasoning for this was that I wanted to keep playing after I won against the REF. However, even with 100% global sentiment, I can not click the "start revolution" button. Is this because I have the victory condition turned off?

If so, excuse me while I cry myself to sleep and eat thirty pounds of ice cream. :'(

You are correct - If you did not select the Independence victory option you cannot start a revolution.

Enjoy the icecream :)

Yes! Dalgo's right!

You won't be able to declare independence if you haven't chosen the "Independence" victory condition...

Sometimes you can correct some mistakes with Civ4Col's in-game WorldBuilder. It can be veeeeeeeeeeery useful sometimes. Unfortunately in your case, it won't help you at all. Sorry !

And, of course. Welcome to Civfanatics forum!
