Arioch's Analyst Thread

The mighty russian city of Yaroslavl' with is thriving specialist economy :

Spoiler :

With only ten field workforce it produces 34 + 8 food on the central tile + 2 from granary. I bet it will ran out of specialist plot before food. Bonus is the stock exchange although I'm not too sure about its effect, might be it raises building maintenance by 25%.

Thats an amazing pic! I can easily see how this would look in lower graphics, not that bad ;)

Oh ! This player is so insanely rich, maybe he doesn't want his trade routes cut off and became paranoid. Oh, and while you wait for the rest and the adress there is something more to discover in the previous screenshot. I'll leave it to you buddies !

You can buy hexes that are more than 3 distance away from the city.

Edit: I'm curious what the resource is in those 4F3H4C sea tiles. I see it's a Golden Age so really they are 4F2H3C, but that's still a damn nice hex.

It's likely boosted further by a building or something else. It looks like Fish, as they're typically easier to see than Pearls and you can see them a bit.

Already did. The only really new information is on the maintenance costs for roads and railroads.

don't forget railroads provide a boost to production for any city connect to the capital along with the regular trade route, thats cool and new.

Yes, there's a Seaport building that probably gives that bonus. I would think it was Whale though, considering the hammer bonus.

Remember ! As a russian, you gain +1 prod with each strategic resource.

But, in the new feature thread I said something about road. This is the proof :

Did you say Hanging Gardens ? No, no, no ... I didn't ear anything !

Yes, the road is pillaged while the pasture is untouched.

Good job snipperrabbit!

A few more tidbits:
- You get a warning when a city can bombard an enemy (Image 7)
- Maritime city states give +2:food: in the capital and +1:food: in all other cities (image 15)

From SnipperRabbits screenshot of Yaroslavl above, is it just me or does this look like a very unusual mountain?
Could it be a Natural Wonder?

Spoiler :
Looks a lot like it could be a natural wonder indeed. I wonder what it represents.

There's a Scientist Improvement northwest of the city, but we had already seen those.
