In civ 5, the audio was running fine.Now, all of the sudden, the music tracks and voice clips are choppy and skipping.At times, it sounds like it's an old record/CD player skipping a track only to return to the skip and proceed on.
As I have stated before, the audio was functioning as normal previously and all of the sudden, the game is now virtually intolerable to play, unless I completely turned off the sound. I have a fairly modern PC and I have the latest audio drivers.
I have a modded game, but I am not sure as to whether any of these mods could be the culprit
Any help/suggestions would be most appreciated! Thanks in advance!
