The Empire of the Holy Flame – 27 into Morocco.

The United Goch Clans – 7 into Greenland.

SUHR – 5 in Oman.

MP Expansion. Every province has an MP value of all its neutral polities / 2; polities targeted by AP and EP are removed from the neutral polity count for calculating MP. 20% chance of conversion. 10% chance of rival faith. 30% chance of heathen. No MP losses from attacking neutral land.

The Empire of the Holy Flame - Kenar leads 300 MP into Syria and Jordan, 150 MP each.

In Jordan (26 polities sitting battle out), it’s 190 MP vs. 75 MP defending 124 polities. 90 polities captured!

In Syria (38 polities sitting battle out), it’s 190 MP vs. 172 polities. 86 MP defend. 65 polities captured! Some fault Kenar’s intelligence, some think there was maybe an intelligence leak, some are bold enough to say perhaps the SUHR just had a better plan, but the SUHR is able to outmaneuver Kenar’s forces and establish a toehold on the Mediterranean coast.

Net result: 155 polities gained. 31 convert, 78 heretic.

KPCR – All demigods and 362 MP target 485 polities in California. 723 MP vs. 243 MP.

Demigod Rolls

New: demigods invoke a relevant stat when performing an action which will increase/decrease odds of success based on where they stand compared to the global average. If no bonus or penalty was applied, it’s just not listed. This does not apply to character vs. character actions which have their own rules.

The Empire of the Holy Flame

Sarah and Vaskus work to peacefully integrate Egypt into the Empire.

19 (20). Sarah is able to convince Egyptian leaders that the Empire will serve their interests best. She also convinces many of them of the benefits of Anansi worship. (+828 provinces, +100 Anansi provinces, Diplomat: +1 to Diplomacy)

18. By chance, Vaskus runs into Anubis again during their travels. Combining their magic, they are able to heal the land ravaged by Set. It certainly cements the Empire’s hold on Egypt. Egypt’s economic productivity naturally skyrockets with the full restoration of the Nile. (Destroyed area in Egypt removed and annexed to the Empire, +3 EP)

The United Goch Clans

Gogrum attempts to diplomatically annex Sweden. +1 from Charisma. 1 (3). Despite maximum charm and a blessing from Reynard himself, Gogrum’s efforts fall short, garnering annoyance from most of the delegates he meets. He escapes unscathed, but… he’s probably hampered the Clans’ expansion efforts. (Gogrum gains -2 to Diplomacy, Sweden gains +100 MP).

Ariel sets up an adventuring academy, Colleish Gastagh, on the Isle of Man. 6. The Academy’s architect cuts a few corners… which leads to some structural collapses, lots of injured people, and oh, lawsuits. -4 EP.

SUHR

Mazdak works on converting the SUHR’s population. +2 from Charisma. 6 (8). At least he’s not creating another community that follows a rival faith, but Mazdak doesn’t seem to make any impact either way.

The Red Amesha researches ambrosia. +1 from Intelligence. 11 (12). The Red Amesha’s research yields fruit once again. Nothing too amazing, but it is another +1% to economic growth.

Valfian

Tormak visits Oman and attempts to persuade its rulers to join Valfian. +1 from Charisma. 8 (9). Oman appreciates the offer, but politely declines for the time being.

Asmadi summons shadow demons to protect the demigods of Valfian against assassination. +1 from Wisdom. 8 (10). Asmadi works to generate the shadows, and while she comes very close, she finds out the shadow demons are fully transparent, and while menacing looking, cannot actually do any damage.

Valikid starts eating nails to toughen his shell and raise his Constitution and HP. 9. Valikid gets a lot of weird looks at the idea. Understandably so… the nails have zero impact on his health, which is strange in and of itself. Either way, he at least had a decent meal. People just hope he doesn’t serve nails in his restaurant!

New England

Kerrigan and Faye stay on defense and heal.

Veers uses one action for counterespionage and the other for the Inquisition. +1 from Wisdom. 18 (20). Whether through boots on the ground or ears on every door, Veers sees the largest success of the Inquisition yet. (+200 Reynard provinces, +1 to Conversion)

Assault on Asmadi

Shortly after Asmadi fails to complete her shadow guardian ritual, she comes under attack from two assailants. They have powerful cloaking magic, but Asmadi is still able to detect their presence at least.

The first assailant rolls a 9 (12), managing to come in for a potentially weak blow, though that depends on Asmadi’s defense.

Asmadi rolls a 1 (2). Her magical barrier is quickly cast, but not quickly enough. The sorceress’ skills have failed her, and she loses 10 HP.

The second assailant rolls a 16 (19), and goes in for a critical hit! If this lands, it is sure to kill her!

Asmadi rolls a 10 (11). Asmadi is able to cast a magical barrier just strong enough to stop the assailant in their tracks.

Security intervenes and keeps the battle from going anywhere. While some of them are cut down, it’s apparent that the assassination attempt has failed. Regardless, Asmadi is in critical condition, and neither Asmadi’s counterattack was excellent enough, nor the assassins' attacks reckless enough, to reveal who was behind this.

Assault on the Spectre

The Spectre of Communism is minding its own business when its shell abruptly starts to crack and flake. What is strangest about the incident is there is no evidence of any sort of assassin, or spells cast nearby, or anything. It is as if the gods themselves cursed the Spectre and made it increasingly more brittle! (-17 Constitution)

Faith Annexation

Owing to the new map, having more faith increases conversion of heretics and heathens in your territory, rather than bringing more territory in. This increases the power of your gods, raises your AP generation, and makes your territory more secure.

Boons Received

Anansi – EHF. 32. +10 to stats. +10 MP. +12 EP.
Coyote – KPCR. 30. +10 to stats. +10 MP. +10 EP.

Huxian – Valfian. 31. +10 to stats. +10 MP. +11 EP.
Reynard – NED. 38. +10 to stats. +10 MP. +18 EP.

Map

As assassination and sabotage rise, paranoia begins to settle in across the world. Are the perpetrators time-honored enemies, duplicitous allies, or someone else entirely?

The Empire of the Holy Flame

Vaskus uses his wisdom to try and increase the efficiency of shipping lanes in the Empire. 1. Early experiments with magical phoenix fire to increase shipping speeds yield fantastic results initially, but it soon becomes apparent many hulls are not up to the task of handling the magical power source. There are innumerable sunken ships all over the Mediterranean, and by sunken, I mean “melted and then dispersed under the waves.” (-10 EP, -1% to EP growth until Turn 12)

The United Goch Clans

Assault on Veers

While giving a rousing speech to troops about their successes in Ontario and how all of Eastern Canada will one day be the Dominion’s, Veers suddenly starts to stumble and drool, before collapsing.

Later medical examination indicates he has forgotten all but the most basic pieces of information. Scientific explanations are eliminated, leading to a belief that it was something supernatural that did this to the world-renowned general.

Map

With tensions flaring between the SUHR and Valfian over failed assassination attempts, much of the world expects a war to engulf South Asia. It would quickly spread into a worldwide conflict if the SUHR’s allies in the UGC, KPCR, and Magayo all come to the SUHR’s aid. While such a war would no doubt be destructive given Valfian’s immense resources, the New England Dominion and Empire of the Holy Flame would surely profit from neutrality.

But perhaps there will be a moratorium on a full-scale war. In Northwest Mexico, a cult of Huehuecoyotl is throwing a convention (rife with nonstop dancing, partying, and general hedonism) in honor of Huehuecoyotl… with said God’s blessing. One might be skeptical, but every one of the world’s demigods has magically received an invitation to attend as guests of honor. In exchange for providing entertainment for all the convention attendees, the Ancient Drum will shower them with prizes, including one grand prize.

Given the lethal sort of entertainment Set and Reynard had in mind previously, it is natural to view such a trade with skepticism. But should the world’s nations choose to be consumed by war, those who remain neutral will surely claim the greatest spoils of HHC – HueHueCon. Perhaps the nations that currently are on the brink of war could even opt to resolve their differences through peaceful competition rather than bloody warfare?

GM Notes:

Due to inactivity, KPCR has been NPCed under the same guidelines as Magayo.

Orders are due the night of Friday the 13th.

In this atmosphere of conspiracy and murder, remember that EP can be used to recover health at a rate of 1:1, without consuming an action.

NEW PLAYERS: In the event a new player joins, they may claim up to 2200 polities. Discussion may be made with me to partially claim provinces. New states will be assigned EP, MP, and allotted demigod points so as to not displace current players too much.

This transgression against our most beloved and talented general will not be tolerated. We will not stand idly by as you hide in the shadows and assault our heroes. Ceace your actions at once or you will face dire consequences if you continue to harass our heroes. The New England Dominion has been minding her own business here in the northeastern portion of North America. This is your final warning, I suggest you take head and let us be.

All three of our heroes will head to the party with our fellow admirers and worshippers of the great Huehuecoyotl!

Praise ode to joy!

We did nothing against your so called heroes. We have no interest in your dystopian Domain and wish to not be bothered by the failing mental health of your leaders again.

Do watch your tounge and refrain on calling our nation “distopian”. We will still keep a suspicious eye on you and do hope that you stick to you words on not having interest in our nation. If we find out that you are involved, do note that we won’t hesitate to retaliate in open warfare.

Do realize that we are both in a state of Cold War. Again, I suggest you tread lightly.

The UGC, having their territory between New England and the Holy Flame, would like to declare that we will not wish to end up in the middle of a crossfire. We hope for peace.

(Zersetzsung’s spy defense is doubled to 20%, Faye gains +2 to security rolls).

Kerrigan investigates the Veers incident, trying to find a trail that would explain what happened (+4). 5 (9). Kerrigan is unable to find any sort of evidence to explain the unpredictable attack on Veers.

HueHueCon

Spoiler :
Turnout is lower than anticipated, with only the SUHR, Valfian and UGC sending representatives. Tension looms over the convention, as it is an open secret by now that Valfian and the SUHR each believe the other behind assassinations against them.

Opening ceremonies begin as one might expect, the chair announcing to her attendees the nine very special guests of honor. Their many skills will be tested over the course of the convention for the entertainment of all in attendance. The three best performing in each contest will receive a medal, bronze, silver and gold, each worth 1, 2, and 3 points respectively. Running total: SUHR 19, Valfian 17, UGC 12.

The chair says that, based on the contests, the SUHR is the winner of the Grand Prize!

…of course, with a knowing tone in her voice, she says that there first is another special announcement. There’s a freshman volunteer being promoted to senior staff!

An unassuming, chubby, dorky looking young man with a cheap costume waddles up onto the stage. He gives the typical cliché speech, his voice cracking many times… and then, his suit rips. He grows. Everyone in attendance can only gasp as he soars to a height of twelve feet, lanky… and covered in fur. A single glance into the deep red eyes of the massive coyote man tells everyone they are in the presence of Huehuecoyotl, who has been posing as a nobody this whole time.

Some of those in attendance immediately go to bow in the presence of the god, but Huehuecoyotl waves his hand dismissively, not wanting to deal with such formalities.

Indeed, Huehuecoyotl is the one who ends up bowing, thanking all his attendees and staff for putting on such a wonderful convention! …before he turns to his panel of nine demigods. His friendly smile widens, showing his sharp teeth. That’s just a bit unsettling.

“It’s true, it’s true, the planned contests are over, unfortunately…” Huehuecoyotl shakes his head, but is soon beaming again, “…but I think we can have a final one, just to squeeze a little more fun out of this little event before I return home. What do you say?” Huehuecoyotl holds a massive claw out towards the assembled demigods.

King Tormak’s expression is blank, but he’s probably just a bit irritated at being denied the prize. Of course, he cracks a smile… the Great Old Coyote is notorious for little cruel jokes like these, after all. One is wise to learn how to take them. The most charismatic of the bunch, Tormak is the one to speak up.

“And what sort of final contest would you have in mind… ‘Yoyo?’” The King elicits many gasps at giving one of the most powerful beings in existence such a casual nickname. Many would do good to remember Tormak’s history with the god in question, though!

Either way, it’s enough to make Huehuecoyotl burst out laughing! …granted, coyote gods laugh at everything.

Huehuecoyotl is quick to shift to a more manageable size, before scurrying around the stage and giving each of the demigods a small knife. More specifically… a bone dagger, the kind frequently seen in Aztec art, resembling the necklace Huehuecoyotl himself wears.

“A battle royale!” Huehuecoyotl claps his paws together, “Each of these daggers is enchanted. The slightest cut will cause the person to be teleported out of the arena. For every person you eliminate, whether offensively or defensively, you receive 2 points; the last one standing gets 10 points! Easy enough, yes?”

No acknowledgement is necessary. Before the demigods can respond, the coyote god is bouncing up and down with excitement as they’re all teleported into a perfectly circular arena.

…The SUHR and UGC’s demigods exchange knowing glances, before looking in unison at Valfian’s.

Team Valfian readies its daggers.

The Arena of Not-Death!

Characters roll for priority in attacking… a successful attack yields a defense roll. If the defender rolls 16 to 19, they get a chance to hit the other back. 20 on a dodge is an automatic counter hit. Rolling a 1 on an attack will result in instant elimination.

Aeron. 2. Eighth!

Ariel. 14. 2. Second!

Gogrum. +1. 13 (14). 9. First!

Spectre. 6. Fifth!

Red Amesha. 3. Seventh!

Mazdak. 1. Ninth!

Asmadi. 4. Sixth!

Tormak. 7. 18. Third!

Valikid. 7. 11. Fourth!

Gogrum leaps into battle, attacking Valikid! 20 (20)!

ROLL TO DODGE! 14 (12). Despite being a blimp, Valikid is able to narrowly avoid Gogrum’s strike!

Ariel goes for Asmadi! 13!

ROLL TO DODGE! 17! Asmadi counterattacks!

ROLL TO DODGE! 3. A slice to the arm, and Ariel yelps in pain, but he’s quickly silenced, vanishing from the arena. +2 for Valfian!

Tormak goes against Mazdak, making it King against King! 11 (13).

ROLL TO DODGE! 8. Despite his best efforts, Mazdak is cut by Tormak. He simply sighs before vanishing. +2 for Valfian!

Valikid attacks the Spectre! 8 (6). He misses, but not so bad Spectre gets a shot at him.

Or did he? Spectre goes next, and heads for Valikid! 15 (17).

ROLL TO DODGE! 2 (1). Valikid feels an all too-familiar pain as Spectre’s knife sinks through his shell, before vanishing. +2 for SUHR!

Asmadi has a chance to give Team Valfian a lead. She attacks Spectre to avenge Valikid! 18 (19)!

ROLL TO DODGE! 10. And so Valikid is avenged. The supernatural blade is able to cut the wrecking ball, which silently disappears. +2 for Valfian!

The Red Amesha knows victory shall be the SUHR’s… so long as Tormak’s annoying dexterity isn’t in play. 20.

ROLL TO DODGE! 1. Tormak’s swiftly eliminated. +2 for the SUHR!

Aeron is given the chance to finish off his magical rival, and heads right for Asmadi. 17 (16).

ROLL TO DODGE! 4 (5). Alas, Asmadi was not quick enough. She vanishes while giving Aeron a glare. +2 for UGC!

With Valfian’s elimination, the Red Amesha now knows what Asmadi’s final moments were like… she is alone against her previous allies, Aeron and Gogrum.

The sides roll for priority…

Red Amesha. 10.

Aeron. 12.

Gogrum. 1 (2).

As if driven by bloodlust, Aeron swiftly moves to cut down the Red Amesha and secure Huehuecoyotl’s prize for the Clans! 8 (7). He misses.

The Red Amesha is quick to strike back, but going for Gogrum! 15 (16).

ROLL TO DODGE! 4 (5). Gogrum hisses, before disappearing. +2 for the SUHR.

The Red Amesha and Aeron are left staring each other down. Both great sorcerers. Both on a mission. Both know whoever lands the final blow will earn enough points to carry home the prize of their god. Though enemies, they can give a simple nod of respect. Whoever loses, the followers of Huehuecoyotl win.

Red Amesha rolls 13, Aeron rolls 14.

Aeron goes to strike the Red Amesha! 16 (15)!

ROLL TO DODGE! 19 (20). Not only does the Red Amesha get grazed on the fabric of their cloak by Aeron’s blade, but as they dodge, they gracefully slash the sorcerer.

Aeron has enough time to turn around and give a soft smile, before he vanishes.

+12 for SUHR.

Final total: SUHR 37, Valfian 23, UGC 14.

HueHueCon: Epilogue

“Amazing! Fantástico! Cualtzin!” Huehuecoyotl claps his paws together repeatedly, joined by all the observers of the crowd. He is distracted only by the severity of some of the wounds inflicted with his daggers, causing him to gasp and promptly use his powers to heal all of the demigods, who have been teleported back to the stage.

Huehuecoyotl is quick to dispense prizes. First, everyone who was in the final game gets +5 DEX and +5 CON!

Next, Huehuecoyotl points out his scores aren’t arbitrary… they’ve translated into real, spiritual power back home. The SUHR, Valfian and UGC gain 37, 23, and 14 Faith, respectively.

And of course… the grand prize. Huehuecoyotl draws the shape of a heart over his chest… the resultant light takes the form of a large ruby shaped like a heart. When he holds it, it takes the shape of a large drum… but as he hands it to the Red Amesha, it takes the form of a harp.

“The music this artifact produces… it can entrance the senses of the common mortal. At the same time, as you listen to its beat, hidden truths will be revealed to you.”

With the Heart of Huehuecoyotl claimed, the convention’s attendees disperse. And the newfound celebrity status of all the participants is sure to help their economies… (every nation gains 15 EP).

Despite initial anxiety that war would engulf Eurasia, there remains an uneasy peace. But with the SUHR having claimed a powerful artifact and with no godly event to distract the possible belligerents, will that peace shatter?

Across the world in the New England Dominion, General Veers has regained much of his prior intelligence, but the attack has left a permanent scar on the Dominion’s psyche that is sure to keep its foreign affairs on edge.

In the midst of all these tensions, the United Goch Clans have begun a massive seafaring enterprise, colonizing territory as far South as Antarctica. With strategic bases close to some of the world’s wealthiest cities, the Gochs have real potential for serious growth in coming years.

GM Notes:

Nations have been proportionally enlarged.

Orders are due the night of Friday the 27th.

In this atmosphere of conspiracy and murder, remember that EP can be used to recover health at a rate of 1:1, without consuming an action.

NEW PLAYERS: In the event a new player joins, they may claim up to 2400 polities. Discussion may be made with me to partially claim provinces. New states will be assigned EP, MP, and allotted demigod points so as to not displace current players too much.

Hiyo all!

Just an update since some were asking me via PM: what happened off the forum stays off the forum, and I will continue GMing this. I've started crunching orders though am of course slowed down a little by the fun of being a graduate student and graduate assistant.

Demigod Rolls

Demigods invoke a relevant stat when performing an action which will increase/decrease odds of success based on where they stand compared to the global average. If no bonus or penalty was applied, it’s just not listed. This does not apply to character vs. character actions which have their own rules.

More than one character can pursue the same action, so they can combine their rolls in the event of failure.

Characters that are not listed can be assumed to be engaging in counterintelligence or the military.

The Empire of the Holy Flame

Sarah attempts to diploannex Sudan. 16 (19). Sarah is an unstoppable force, convincing Sudan to join the Empire. They even convert in large numbers to Anansi worship! (+800 provinces, +400 Anansi provinces)

The United Goch Clans

Ariel attempts to diploannex Patagonia! 3 (4). Ariel is agile enough to avoid any harm, but the Patagonians are armed, and perhaps he should stick to adventuring. (+100 MP for Patagonia, -1 to Ariel’s Diplomacy)

SUHR

Mazdak attempts to diploannex Set’s Holy City. 18 (20). The Holy City refuses to engage Mazdak in diplomacy, but the surrounding countryside sees the benefits of joining the SUHR. Only the 7 polities of the City itself do not join the SUHR. (+393 provinces, Gain Diplomat: +1 to Diplomacy)

The Red Amesha attempts to construct a magical bridge to Set’s Holy City. 8. The Red Amesha just can’t get a break on this project. If nothing else, they receive word of Mazdak’s turning the Nigerian countryside to the SUHR’s side, so it’s a moot point strategically.

Valfian

Tormak diploannexes New Zealand. 10 (12). New Zealand celebrates its union with the mighty state of Valfian. (+401 polities)

Asmadi creates an extremely powerful Elemental out of all four elements and somebody’s heart. 3 (6). Asmadi ends up creating an extremely dangerous Elemental, but it is rebellious. Fortunately, she is able to destroy it before it levels too much of the Kingdom. (-5 EP, -1 MP)

The world’s balance of power has changed dramatically. As the SUHR and Valfian are locked in an economic Cold War, the kaiju of Magayo have proven to be the state’s undoing, leading to its collapse. More noticeably, however, the isolationist New English military has drastically enlarged, clearly dwarfing its closest competitor in Valfian.

The fall of Magayo has reduced the Tehuan Alliance’s clear hegemony in world affairs, but it remains a dominant force. With the SUHR, UGC and Valfian all closing in on the economic and military power offered by a holy city, the question is asked: is the cold war destined to turn hot?

Ascension!

Reynard has accumulated sufficient Faith to gain enhanced abilities. He now gives +10% to Spy Defense.

GM Notes:

Take note that two or more demigods can undertake the same action to increase chance of success. This will protect against failure, as their dice rolls are combined. Should they score more than 31 together, they will get the benefits of two successful rolls.

Nations have been proportionally enlarged.

Orders are due the night of Tuesday the 8th.

In this atmosphere of conspiracy and murder, remember that EP can be used to recover health at a rate of 1:1, without consuming an action.

With the fall of Magayo we of the UGC are keen to ensure the protection of the followers of the Dancing God of their lands.

Henceforth: we will make plans to secure Cuba and Haiti.

For the southern Mexican lands of the Magayo: we will talk with our fellow Tehuan powers before we conduct any commitments but to those outside the Tehuan Alliance we request respect to the lands of our ally the Magayo.

We will announce additional plans later.

We hope to maintain a peace between the Holy Flame and New England.

Just to update: we have made our orders. In addition to Cuba and Haiti we will this turn seek to claim the isles bounded to the two greater isles: Isla de la Juventud and Gonave Island.

Additional we will continue our expansions in Senegal, Mauritania and Norway.

We are also going to expand into the massive Saharan Algeria province (the 1000 poly one) and Baden-Württemberg.

Finally: we are going to resolve the case of Sweden...

Glory to the Clans!

SUHR – 64 into 64 polities of Xinjiang. 14 annexed, 4 convert.

The Empire of the Holy Flame

Sarah attempts to convert Kiev to the Empire. 11 (14). Kiev is acquired, and many of its people are swayed to Anansi worship as well! (+300 polities, +200 Anansi provinces)

Vaskus works on peacefully converting heathens to Anansi worship. 12. Vaskus has some moderate success convincing non-believers of the justice and strength of the Spider God. After all, for their intimidating appearances, they are quite good at eliminating dangerous pests! (+100 Anansi worshippers)

The United Goch Clans

Aeron attempts to use mindbending magic to diploannex Sweden. 6 (8). Apparently the Swedish leadership’s skulls were too thick or something, but they kind of just stare at Aeron and dismiss him if he has nothing of importance to discuss with them.

Gogrum reforms the diplomatic bureau. 10 (9). A valiant effort, but the warrior’s suggestions to put all the diplomats in full military gear were not particularly liked.

Ariel searches Greenland for the legendary Triforce Facility. 16 (18). It’s freezing cold, and Ariel is quite happy to eventually come across a lost structure in the snow… it even has some power to make the inside still heated! He’s no expert, but Ariel is quick to call in people who are, and soon, the legendary structure of the ancients is humming along, granting the Clans all its secrets… the Clans are surely blessed by Huehuecoyotl! (UGC gains Triforce Facility: +10 MP, +2% to MP each turn, +15 Faith)

Of course… it seems there might still be more of the place to explore…

SUHR

King Mazdak travels the Silk Road to Huxian’s Holy City, working to convince people to join the Communist state. 5 (10). While the various peoples along the Silk Road are happy to invite Mazdak into their homes and treat him with kindness, none of the various powerbrokers seem interested at yielding their sovereignty to the SUHR.

The Red Amesha resumes research on ambrosia. 11 (13). The Red Amesha continues to make the ambrosia process more efficient, and has a little left over to share with the SUHR’s demigods. (+1% more EP growth, all demigods are healed and gain +3 HP)

The rivalry between Valfian and the SUHR has come to a head, with their massive economies moving almost in lockstep; Valfian’s entrepreneurs and workers tend to be more innovative, but the impeccable health of the SUHR’s ambrosia-fed population has helped them maintain a serious edge in productivity. While Valfian dominates the military sphere on the surface, SUHR’s demigods have better physical and leadership capabilities, making it so the states are almost evenly matched.

Regardless of their military stature, however, the New England Dominion could take on both of them simultaneously if it so chose. The Dominion’s military has surged in size yet again, and with a leadership in receiving boons from its patron deity, it is believed the only thing keeping the Dominion from being a true superpower is its miniscule economy, the world’s smallest.

Tying both of these subjects together, something terrible has happened in the SUHR, though outside observers have no idea what. While the society seems otherwise normal, those with the means to measure the flow of divine energies can tell there has been an enormous decline in how much goes to the SUHR and its demigods. Some suggest perhaps Huehuecoyotl has played an awful joke on his loyal followers?

The Huxian Academy

The SUHR could not have chosen a better time to expand into China, as Lady Huxian has descended to Earth, a several thousand feet tall skyscraper surging forth from the Beijing skyline. She has invited the powers of the world to send their best and brightest to reveal just how ambitious and productive they are, with the one most capable of being a Captain of Industry going home with a fabulous prize.

Ascension!

Anansi has accumulated sufficient Faith to gain enhanced abilities. The Spider God can see into the hearts of mortals to discern their intentions, and has shared a form of this power with his demigods. 1 AP can be spent to raise Dexterity by 2, and every character has +1 to Defense rolls.

GM Notes:

Orders are due the night of Friday the 18th.

We intent to claim both Bavaria and Czechia to secure our borders. We would like a summit with the Holy Flame to discus the northern Holy Flame borders between us to strengthen our calm relations.

We also wish to declare that we attend to go to Huxian's conference.

Additional declarations will be made once we have calculated our strategy this 13th turn.

Apologies for the double but we have decided on temporal expansions.

In addition to both Bavaria and Czechia we are also going to the 5 remaining isles in the Amazon delta of the State of Pará, plus we intend to claim New Caledonia, which will involve also taking to its south-east the Isle of Pines and to its north-west Belep Island.

We will also strive to complete the securing of Baden-Württemberg and Senegal.

For the UGC!
