Recently a strange problem has developed on my computer. After I play Civ my mouse will sometimes lose functionality. I can move the mouse across the screen, but the computer won't recognize my clicks - I simply can't click on anything.
Curiously, if I open the Windows Task Manager, I can click on the task manager window and then I can start clicking on another window. But if I switch windows the mouse will stop clicking; and if I switch tabs in Mozilla the mouse will stop clicking. So I have to continuously click on the task manager and then click on the window I want to use. This continues for a few days; rebooting doesn't solve it.
Has anyone encountered this? I have no idea how to go about fixing this. This has only been happening for a few months so maybe there is a problem between Civ, my hardware, and the Windows updates?
