Yeah, not seeing how.
You won't get religion founded first generally, so considering you'll be missing some of the better faith choices, yeah, no, really don't see this as being the case.

What kind of an OP is that? It doesn't explain itself or pose readers a question / ask for a comment.
Wouldn't knock the UA though; it needs investment but is very powerful and the most versatile UA in the game. Also like the dromon, but don't think they work as a complete civ. The first 100 turns feels like choosing which part of the civ to waste, and after that it's super boring cos all it's setup has been and gone.
