Hi all,

I'm a new guy and, for first, sorry for my english.

Can anyone tell me how calculating hammers during the game?

I mean: when I start with the first city is simple because if I have 2 tiles worked with 3+1 hammers total is 4 but in the mid-game I couldn't understand why that city had 55 hammers.

- About 13 hammers from terrain
- No forge
- Organized religion +25%
- No burocracy
- +1 from stone and +1 from iron

but ... I've missed something?

Is there something else I've to consider for hammers total?

Thanks in advance and sorry if there's another thread about this but I wasn't able to find it.

Bye.

Possibly access hammers from slavery (whipping)? Specialists can also have an effect.

Chopping trees and overflow from previous build? Hover your mouse over the :hammers: icon next to the production bar and you'll get a breakdown on where your production is coming from :)

Welcome to the CFC forums by the way. Don't forget to leave your sanity at the door. All remaining bits of sanity will disappear once you visit the Forum Games, Off-Topic sections, and Stories and Tales sections :p.

Thank you now it's more clear.

I moved the pointer on the hammers counter in the city screen and I could see the "base production" and its multipliers

exactly.
Usually, the increased amount is from building multipliers and overflow production, but, specialists, civics, or Golden Ages will do this too.
With things like: Leader Traits, Wonders, Forge, OR, Factory, Iron Works, Heroic Epic, Drydock, access to Stone/Marble/Gold/Ivory/Copper, one can see multipliers of over 200%, greatly speeding up the production of a unit or building.

By the way, the "+1 from stone and iron" doesn't actually exist. It just means what it changes from the base terrain.
