Cant proceed to next turn game braking glitch

Hi guys,

Really frustrated with this game breaking glitch since installing gods and kings.

Basically the game gets stuck on a unit saying it needs to move or something similar and I cant move to another unit or move to the next turn.

If I check the integrity of the game files via steam it says one file is broken and down a quick download.

Makes no difference the game still gets stuck next time I reload the save.

any ideas or do I need to start a new game and hope it doesn't happen again?

Have you tried disabling threading?

1. Open up your config.ini
2. Look for the following line: EnableGameCoreThreading = 1
3. Change it to: EnableGameCoreThreading = 0

Nope made no difference.

Happens every time I declare war on Alexander and ever single city state in the game declares war on me...its like the game cant handle it and "locks up".

I'm now stuck at this bit where I want to war him but cant as the game breaks.

Did you varify until the message, "All files varified successfully"? There may be more than one to download.

It downloads a file the first time then says everything is fine when I run it again.

If I reload the save and experience the glitch, it will then say a file is broken in steam and re-download 1 file.
