Hi All: Playing Civ5 BNW on an XP machine. Have had no problems with crashes in the past. I recently tried
to install the Community Balance Patch, but the game crashed when loading. I uninstalled CBP, I think,
but the game kept crashing. I then unistalled the game and reinstalled from cd. Now, the game crashes with
regular frequency, with the message that,"Sid Meier's Civ5 Has Encountered A Problem And Needs To Close".
The error message usually references: CVGamecore_Expansion2.DLL and another file which I failed to write
down. I am playing with the UI_bc1 installed as well as the 3rd Unique Component(V7), 4th Unique Component(V8), and More Luxuries(V155) mods installed.
Can anyone suggest a solution to the frequent crashes?
