I'm not sure...was that supposed to be funny? I guess I didn't get it.

Yeah maybe a few lines, but I didnt think it was that funny. Mostly just making fun of the series. I did expect him to sit down and play at the ending, but it didnt happen.

That's the point! To demonstrate just how odd basic Civ can sound to the uninitiated. I guess I just like laughing at my own hobbies.

Well just dropping nukes into farmland so you can build the some wonder before they can is kind of immoral. But I was in war with them anyway and I had them laying around...

I see a bit of both characters' reactions in my relationship with Civ. Remember the Civ Anonymous videos? Some found them offensive, some extremely funny, some didn't see the point. This one - like those - falls into the "guess you had to be there" category.

Anyone else notice that the critic is a fantasy sports player? So the video is sort of like the anorak telling the nerd he's too geeky. I like it.
