Civilization Revolution Wins IGN's "Game of the Month"

Civilization Revolution, released in the United States this past month, has won IGN's award for "Game of the Month" for both its Xbox 360 and PS3 versions. It beat out other games like NCAA Football 09 and Soulcalibur IV to earn the title, and here's what the editors of IGN had to say in praise:

The developers of Civ Rev made some tough but smart compromises, which resulted in a great console strategy game that could do with just a bit more depth. Overall though, this one's a winner.

There's something cool about taking Abe Lincoln head to head with Napoleon, and that's exactly what this game does. [...] Basically, this game scratches the itch we all have to rule with an iron fist.
