The obscure late 90s game set in the world of Glorantha: King of Dragon Pass. You must play this game (available on gog.com) as it is the only game like it I've ever played. Can't tell you if it's a strategy game, an rpg, or an adventure game. It's a mish-mash of all that. Admittedly you spend most of your time clicking on options and menus, but it's still mesmerizing somehow. I think they now have mobile phone versions.

Forgive low quality, but had some interesting celtic-sounding music.

Actually here's the entire soundtrack. Anywhere you click you will end up on good music.

The game isn't released yet. But this is awesome.

Not the usual electro stuff I've been listening to constantly, epic guitar riffs and whatnot instead.

one last one from Uematsu, one of the most haunting tunes in gaming history, imo.

But you didn't quote Pokémon Red, in fact you're bringing up Gold and Silver. Have the cappies finally won you over with their smooth talk?
