When Creative Constructions is present in a city with Aluminum Co. coal resources are counted as aluminum for corporate purposes. This means an increase in hammers from Creative Constructions.

Aluminum Co. does produce Aluminum, so one having one extra is ok, but are you sure there is now as many Aluminum as there is coal??

Perhaps that's what they meant by "creative constructions" ;)

Yes. It shows up in the list of resources. For instance, I had 6 real aluminum and 12 coal. Once Aluminum Co. is spread the city screen shows 18 aluminum. This means coal technically gets used for 2 corporations. It also means the National Park city can't have Aluminum Co. since it can't use coal. But Creative Constructions can be spread since it doesn't use coal. Coal has been converted into aluminum. Sounds like alchemy doesn't it? (I'm going to have to check a Mining Inc. game to see if hammers have been reduced in an NP city due to it using coal.)

Yes it does, your NP city has less hammers from Mining Inc as it has no access to coal.

Good discovery :)
I'm still hooked on Mining Co. Too many hammers :D Much more than creative constructions, without the culture ;)

I might be getting hooked on Aluminum Co. and Standard Ethanol. I just saw Aluminum Co. produce 18 beakers for a cost of 9 gold. Meanwhile Wall Street produced 12 gold. Free beakers. Free money. Creative Constructions is expensive but it can to be paired with Aluminum Co. which makes it tolerable.
