Difference between Rhye's vanilla/warlords?

So it seems I lost my warlords disc, will I be missing out by using the latest vanilla version instead of the warlords version?

There are no Independents, so when a civ collapse it turns barbarian, and start to kill everybody in the world... I think that this is the biggest difference...

There is no Babylonian. There is no Carthaginian. There is no Turk. There is no Viking.

So why won't they all bend?

IMHO that is the most apparent difference.
