Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it impossible to not have Mongolia? Didn't they add them in as a base civ?

They released it as a free DLC as an apology for some sort of bug and it was automatically added to all games by an update. If you check the DLC menu, you'll see it listed there.

The whole Sim City 5 release reminded me a lot of the Civ 5 initial release. I'm impressed with how incredible the game has become. Firaxis > Maxis when it comes to a lot... I never thought I'd say this but 2k >> EA as well.
