Does the FFH Editor work?

I was having a little play around with the FFH excel editor, made a few changes based on how it seemed to work and saved them.

My changes were to make FoL summons non-permanent, and t9o make Thessa a summoner instead of having the arcane trait.

However, when I started up the game, none of my changes hhad had any effect .

Am I doing something wrong, or does this editior not actually do anything?
