DS: Patchable? Mod-able?

I've been hiding under a rock for a while and just noticed that CivRev is out and designed for consoles and handhelds. I have a Nintendo DS and happen to have a desire for a portable Civ. I'm a Civ III fan; I own Civ IV but never really got into it.

So, can the DS version be patched or modded? I haven't been able to figure that out yet. And if it can't be patched, do we have an idea yet of what DS owners might be missing out on?

I don't think it will be patched and as for mods, unless you get an illegal device , I doubt it.

Nope, no patches, and mods are very unlikely. There are DS version bugs. Sometimes wonders magically turn into the Pyramids, among others. Nothing I've noticed that breaks the game completely. The DS GOTW feature lets you chose any civ and has no leaderboards, so over at the GOTW forum we post our scores/dates/writeups. Very few people participate, it would be nice to have more.
