From the Golden Hills to the Golden Sea
This project aims to put several of the ethnic minorities within Burma into Civ V, with a tentative list subject to change. With the large variety of peoples not just in the Burmese border but around Indochina, it's virtually impossible to represent every group.

Current Plans:

Tai Principalities (Confederation of the Shan States under Saopha Sawlon of Mong Yang)

Chin

Hanthawaddy Kingdom
(Shin Sawbu)

Jingpho
(Kachin)

Arakan (Mrauk-U)

Looking forward to seeing the Taungoo in game!

I need help with making a Leaderscreen for Alaungpaya. I just generally suck at making leaderscreens. (If you've seen my Bayinnaung LS, you know).

His historical Palace was ShweboPalace.jpg. Like the UB, the dynasty as a whole is more associated with the Mandalay Palace(all the other Palace images).

Here are some images I found I put all the higher definition reference images in a zip.
If you find a better reference image, feel free to use it.

Spoiler :

Alaungpaya:

Just played first game with Thayae Khittaya. First of all, want to say that I think the mod is really well done with interesting mechanics, nice art, seems to be working well, etc. so look forward to more good stuff!!

However, I think the decision Ring the Patho Bells may have a bug since I didn't get/see the faith bonus from the trade route. I did get the influence bonus so that part works, but didn't see faith go up anywhere, either in related city, trade route screen or just the global faith number. Where would this be visible? As an additional bullet in the top banner shown below could be an option or would that create conflicts with other mods?

Also noticed typo in the decision: "citiy-states" -> city states.

Just in case I have attached logs. Playing with JFDLC incl Suzerainty mod by the way.

Then 2 suggestions:
- As I usually have quite some mods showing in the mod selection screen, it takes some time to find your civs in the list as they're not grouped. Is it an option for next update to change the name format, so something like: EmeraldRange's Civilizations - Thayae Khittaya (Duttabaung). Then they would be grouped together.
- To use standard format for decisions (see below, ao used by JFD and DMS civs) which looks bit nicer and reads more clearly

Thanks!

Huh, that's strange, because it's working on my end. I just did a test. I was lazy and so the faith would only be added to the global faith count. (i.e. it might say 32 (+1) and then the next turn be 34 if you have one trade route. I will probably change it so that it displays more naturally along with the typo (Thanks for finding that :D) and it might fix whatever issue is occurring on your end.

And for the naming standardisations, yeah I guess I ended up memorising where in my mod list the mods are from testing and didn't consider that too much and will probably change soon. But the decision text format I'm using is Sukrtiact's and is the default Decisions text format.

Hmmm weird indeed, still don't see it when I go through the calculation, but will try with new game to see if I can better single the effect out.

Just one other thing: the Pahto is not showing as a constructed building in the city view. With JFDLC the buildings are grouped per building type, so likely related to that, but believe you included support for JFDLC? Have also noticed this for other civs by the way...

Uh... it's working fine, which makes me think that there may be other issues.

I didn't have a look at your log, but now that I did, I found the following:

It's a lot of missing civlopedia entries from suk's new city-states, which is presumably being caused by one sql error, but I can't actually debug this for you. Regardless, I will be changing up the way the Ring the Pahto Bells decision works so that it's not as confusing.

Thanks for the feedback and time taken to look into this! Indeed must be something on my end then. Will de-activate mods (only used a few like JFDLC, Suzerainty, HR) and see if that works.

Well tbf Emerlad's using an older version of JFDDLC than you Stef, so it's possible that the issue's introduced somewhere between the public and secret beta versions.

Hey Emerald Range! Just wanted to say I'm excited for the release of the Tai States, and was curious how they're coming along?
