Enhanced User Interface v1.30m

Oh my god. 5 minutes after starting to use this mod and I am blown away.

Thank you SO MUCH for all your work into this. It is INCREDIBLE. I was going to post a couple of the features I really love, like when your border expands from culture it will tell you what new resource you may have gained access to! But now there is SO MUCH I LOVE -- I can't talk about it all.

Good lord almighty you have breathed new life into CiV.

Just found this mod and love it. I have two errors I was wondering if anyone knew a solution for:

In the city screen when I hover buildings (either already built or in the queue list) it says "TXT_KEY_EUI_BUILT_IN_X_CITIES". When I hover over wonders I get "TXT_KEY_EUI_WONDER_BUILT_BY"

I love this mod so much! It's awesome!

But, when I use it I get a missing texture error:

UnitAction64_DLC_03.dds

I searched the game directory on both my PC (steam install) and laptop (non-steam install) and couldn't find the file. It only happens when I use EUI :(
 
Do you have all DLCs? Is your version up-to-date? Any other mods?

  • Brave new world
  • Scrambled Continets Map pack
  • God and Kings
  • Civ and scenario pack - Mongols, Genghis Khan

I don't have the Babylon/Spain/Inca/ Polynesia/ Denmark/ explorer's map pack or wonders of the ancient world scenario pack.

Could you do me a favor and find where the file is located in your directory :D
 
Yeah, I know this is probably a dumbass question and I must be missing something obvious, but I have a hard time figuring out how to select unit production in a city. Whenever I open the city menu such option is just not there, only buildings and wonders. What exactly did I do wrong? I've got all DLCs and am playing vanilla.

Awesome mod otherwise. For some reason it even responds quicker than vanilla, so I'm not going near considering removing it

It's a new feature in 1.28g. It now gives the summary information for all the bundled notifications in the tooltip. Admittedly not any benefit it the case you mentioned, but is very useful in other cases especially when several trade deals end at once.

Is it possible that you have just closed the units list? If it says "Units" above the Buildings section just click it to reopen. Otherwise it's probably a clash with a mod.

Problem is, they don't work properly. Fairly sure that trade deals are still separated as they normally were outside of EUI, in which case, I must have a broken installation(?). What else is there to do other than to delete cache folder and moduserdata folder? Don't really feel like re-installing the entire game, and I've already tried both standard installation of EUI and the one included in the Community Overhaul.

Regardless, is there anyway at all to get it back to using the # rather than the 1) method? I'd really prefer the former over the latter. Thanks.
 
Can someone tell me how I can change the icon size of those red-boxed icons? I was able to rescale all other icons, but it seems so that the TopPanel.xml don't contain those icons that are still in their smaller size.

My Unit panel is missing when using this mod. The panel that is in the bottom left corner of the screen when units are selected. Can any explain to me how to fix that?

Yeah, I'm not that stupid. The panel is just not there, not open nor closed. And it certainly isn't a mod, I'm playing vanilla with EUI only
 
As I play around with Enhanced User Interface I notice that the unit panel is only missing when I use any mods. This mod could be just adding a new Civ. It does not matter what the mod is if its just one the unit panel is missing. I also notice when the unit panel is missing the city panel is missing too. Anyone know how to fix that when using modes?
 
Anyone else having an issue with the (6a) Community Balance Overhaul - Compatibility Files (EUI) mod seemingly causing the game to freeze? Not entirely sure exactly what is causing the random freezes but it doesn't seem to happen when I disable just that mod.
 
Just the ones included with the Vox Populi mod pack with EUI v1.28g. The bug was happening on a couple different games where I played as the Shoshone. While waiting for your responses to this post I messed around with Egypt and so far it hasn't bugged yet in that game, although with it's seemingly randomness it could be it just hasn't occurred yet. I'll keep that game going and see. If anyone has any ideas in the mean time though let me know. Thank you!
 
Yeah jinxed myself there. As soon as I went back to the game and took a few turns it froze. I have the logs and I don't see anything specific but there are what seems to be localization errors in the database log. Not sure if that means anything though. If anyone wants me to upload anything specific let me know.
