Faction Leaders and Game of Thrones

Sister Miriam -> Melisandre. Talks about God and war constantly.
Lady Deirdre Skye -> Daenerys Targaryen. Gentle to her followers, relies on exotic wildlife to survive and prosper.
Chairman Yang -> Tywin Lannister. De facto ruler of the country, just as he was the de facto ruler of the Unity, rules through fear and awe.
Pravin Lal -> Renly Baratheon. Relies on charm and accommodation to get his way.
Nwabudike Morgan -> Petyr Baelish. Buys his way to the top, talks constantly about profit margins and returns on investment.
Santiago -> Stannis Baratheon. Self-deprivation, martial prowess, sticking to one's principles at all costs, all these are very Spartan ideals.
Zakharov -> Tough call, as there isn't anyone resembling a scientist in the show. Closest thing would probably be Varys, since he's the most knowledgeable and objective character.

Hmm.. Pretty much agreed with first six, however let's not mix genders at least

Santiago -> Arya Stark, the true survivalist of the series. Also, she learned how to fight in very young age, and I think we'll yet to see her fighting for real.
Zakharov -> Tyrion Lannister. Perhaps not a dwarf, but he's well-educated, acts in a smart way, uses technology to achieve military success though war is not exactly his strong point; a good diplomat as well. Varys (as mentioned above) and Samwell Tarly would be other possible picks.

Now, we have more factions Let's not forget about them.

Svensgaard -> Theon Greyjoy. A mercenary without real agenda or political views, who can be both charming enough to lead people and unnecessarily cruel at the same time. He can betray his friends any time for his own profit. A pirate and an island dweller as well.
Aki-Zeta5 -> Brienna Tart. Both for absence of sexuality (ironically, the face of Aki-Zeta in the game is quite cute), and for rational choices she makes.
Sinder Roze -> Chersei Lannister. Has her own "probe teams" everywhere. Very difficult to control, even her father and brother can't really do that. Magnanimous, ambitious and y.
Foreman Domai -> Stannis Baratheon. Gathers a lot of people around him, promises them a better future under his banner, and relies on numbers and brute force rather than cunning plans or brilliant tactics.
Prophet Cha Dawn -> Joffrey Baratheon. Perhaps not as ultimately evil as the latter, but there is much resemblance. A teenage boy, a dictator, urges followers to worship him, relies on military force. Probably feeds his pet mindworms with those poor ones who dared to oppose his reign.

Didn't add the aliens, cause they are obviously aliens. Though H'minee resembles Cathelyn Stark, and Marr - The Mountain.

Okay, Connecting SMAC with Game of Throne make me interested in latter one. Should I watch it?

It is amazing. You should definitely watch it. And it definitely has a similar setup. You have impending doom, the death of the leader, and a competition for the throne among those who used to serve the dead leader.

And seconding Stannis for Domai. This
