Finding more scenarios like these

I've been a big fan of scenarios on the Scenario League wiki page, but I'm facing a problem in that I have a new computer, I can't play Civ 2 anymore except on the old computer, and generally I'm kind of getting tired the limitations of Civ 2.

I like the same kind of games you guys seem to like: very detailed but with a lot of scripts and events; I'm not a big fan od sandbox games that go off the historical track the very moment you unpause the game. It's why I loved Europa Universalis II and lost all interest in III. I got Civilization V, and may get Civilization IV, but I've been unable to find any good ordered list of scenarios available, much less ones that have the events and flavor I love so much.

Can anyone help me find what I'm looking for? Good, event filled scenarios in other Civ games? And hint on how to look for what I want would be a godsent.

There are other versions of Civilization?!?

I'm afraid I have never played any of the other versions of Civ but I think there were quite a few Civ3 scenarios made and I have seen bits and pieces from later versions too.

I have tried all the CIV series. Always came back to CIV2. It is a work of genius, never to be bettered.

And with TOTPP, it fixes many things that limited the game. I'm set for life.

I believe there are ways to get Civ2 working on newer versions of Windows. I'm sure someone will be able to point you in the direction of a guide to adapting. The new ToTPP is massively expanding the capabilities of Civ2.
