Due to how I generally play Freedom is more useful 90% of the time, so freedom.

Whatever fits the situation.

I love Treaty Organization...

Freedom tends to work better with my preferred play style.

i am about to try order as i did autocracy last game. but freedom is where my heart is not for game reasons but for rl personal preference. i guess i am not really a dictator at heart. of course if circumstances dictate i would pick the other two but i would prefer to do freedom.

I'll take Freedom more often then Order mostly for the GP benefits, less food and less unhappiness. I like a big, tall capital with as many specialists as I can have. The only downside is that most civs take Order so I have to make sure I push Freedom through as the World Ideology to relieve some of the pressure on my civ.

Freedom if tall, Order if wide

Spoiler :
or tall.

Autocraty all the way.

No wars get me bored :p

Depends on the majority... for example, this poll had freedom on top so freedom... if another id gets on top then the other id...

As much as I love coconut cream pie, I always go with Order. IMO it's not situational; more science, happiness and production is always useful. And the tier 3 tenet "Spaceflight Engineers" is probably the most useful thing ever for an SV.

It's no different than the freedom tenet that lets you buy spaceship parts, unless you're counting the free GP's.

I want to like Order, I really do. It's superior for a SV, but SV's are sooooo slllllooow, Freedom works well for everything, and you can brute force yourself thru a culture victory way quicker. Plus Statue of Liberty > Kremlin, and that's just a fact. 25% science and +1 production from mines is awesome, but I run A LOT of specialists, and that adds up pretty quick.

Will Order work with a tall 4 city empire? I mean, if you can handle your traderoutes right, you might still be able to found some new late cities and supply them with a crapton of food to grow them fast enough to make up for the Science penalty.

Or is it a waste of tenets and time?

I have an over-seas empire, with about 5 cities on my mainland and then 6 cities on other continents (would have been a perfect game to play as Indonesia!).

Would it ever be wise to choose Freedom over Order in such a situation? Thanks in advance.

Order works just fine tall as well. Setting aside tenets that are identical to Freedom, there's a few that are just amazing. +25%science from factories is amazing for tall, too.

Dictatorship to the proletariat, spaceflight pioneers, worker's faculties, etc: all great for Tall, esp. as tall tends to be happier than wide.

I picked that I like Autocracy.

Autocracy grants so much happiness but less tourism than the other ideologies.

Autocracy because I like to play wide. And other empires just happen to be in the way of my ever-expanding empire, so combat bonuses over Order.
