Game Crashes While Trying to Conduct Dimplomacy

I recently bought Civ5 and played a bit. Then I downloaded two mods (MC's Scotland, Play the World). I new beforehand that mods may cause errors. I started a single player team game (4 per team, settler, Pangaea standard map, no city states or barbarians). A moved some units, then tried to talk to my allies At first I talked to Chengiz Khan, nothing happened. But when I tried to talk to Bouddica, my game crashed (stopped responding). I unsubscribed and disabled my mods, then tried again. A talked to Bouddica, then Chengiz Khan. It crashed again. After a few more attempts, I figured I could talk to one leader, but when I talked to another one (the second time) my game crashed.
