Garrison units not selectable?

So if any of my combat units walk trough a not garrisoned city they disappear to garrison that city but now i cant select them to move or something. anyone know how to select?

Click their little icon just on top of the city name (ie the axe for warriors, the two spears crossing for spearmen, etc)

^ Right. The unit's selection icon appears on the left of the city nameplate if it's garrisoned; just click it to select that unit. If the unit icon appears on the right, it's 'stacked' with the garrison unit and the game is just about to harass you about moving it.
