I read in one of the posts that in the pacific scenario USSR attack Japan in 1945. Does that mean that in the global scenario Germany and Japan finally form a perm alliance? (or at least does USSR attack Japan in the Global Assault version as well?

I don't think they do. I know the USSR joins the Allies.

Oh right, Thanks guys, shame Japan doesn't join the axis though :/
