Good as fantasy unit, not good at all for a realist unit. That's conceptually speaking. Artisticly, it's really AWESOME !

I agree the head isn't quite right for the rifleman (I still reckon you should use bernie's - it's awesome! 
), but you totally have to use that jackal head on one of the Egyptian units because it's way too cool to go to waste. I reckon it could fit well on an ancient unit, like the swordsman maybe?

I didn't know that EDU included that, but yes, VD includes Ethnic Artstyles.
