Help with display

First of all, thanks for the great work and ambitious mod. I have discovered it recently after playing freecol as I am a great fan of classic Colonization since kid.

I'm having trouble with modded version when displaying bonuses and building/units specs. On vanilla version it's displayed correctly. I have searched all around forum and bug posts for a solution but coudn't find it:

The second screenshot (carbinetmaker) looks wrong. My guess is that your computer is not set to a western European language. You might have some luck using AppLocale to set the game to assume it's running on an English computer.

My commputer is Brazilian Portuguese and I setup to play in UK region but i didn't work. I tried it in Japanese and it works now although the fonts are diferent now but it's fine anyway. Thanks a lot
