Can one player take over for another in a Pitboss game, and if so how do I do that, as host?
I ask because just now, many turns into an eight player Civ V / BNW Pitboss game one of my players changed his Steam name. As soon as this happened, he could no longer log into Pitboss.
I am guessing that Pitboss uses the Steam name to determine which civ each player is able to control.
He tried changing his Steam name back to what it was, but is still unable to connect.
If anyone knows how to solve this problem, please let me know. If not, can someone tell me how to let him "take over" his original civilization, but now as a "new player", so we can continue to play?
