Keep AI Corps out

Is there a way other than closing the borders with the AI Civ to keep their corporation from taking over my cities existing corp?

I've got Mining Corp in my cities and my friendly neighbor keeps dumping Creative corp in my cities. So then have to generate another exec to retake the corp.

I canceled my Open Borders and that worked, but hate missing that trade opportunity.

State Property :
No maintenance cost from distance to palace;
+1 food from workshop, watermill;
+10% hammers in all cities;
Corporations have no effect

But of course it has the effect that it works on your corps too.

Mercantilism does basically the same thing as you were doing, but only effects foreign corps, but both these probably dont help you any.

Im not to savy on the corps so cant help you much.
