Looking for the CIV II 5.4.0f Multiplayer Patch

I'm trying to link two old laptops to play CIV 2 and when I tried to play a multiplayer game one of the games said that it couldn't link because the other laptops was an older patch. I can't seem to find the correct patch any where on the web. Hoping maybe someone here might give it.
The patch it said I need is
5.4.0f Multiplayer 26 March 99
Please advise if you can.

Are you having any luck with Civ 2 Multiplayer setup. My friend and I are trying to connect and getting "connection failed" message.

For multiplayer can play with Hamachi,a soft making networks.I played successfully with this and recently in a network for games like GameSpy and GameRanger,Evolve.GameRanger have a problem with Civ2.exe,is accepted just a version.
