MENU doesn't work flashing screen..

I don't understand why the menu doesn't work while I'm playing the game...as I click the menu button on the screen the screen starts flashing.....I don't understand...

it also takes quite some time to start a a new game up...do you also have these problems...

I think I meet al the requirements of cpu speed etc..
