Mod suddenly stopped working

hello,
i hope this is the right place for this thread.

i reinstalled civ5 and played it with a mod i made about 8 months ago.
everything worked fine and i saved my game. the next day i wanted to launch civ5 and it crashed right after the intro video. after reinstalling it again it works. but when i select the mod it crashes.

i'm just curious because it worked just fine before and suddenly it crashes the game.

does anybody have an idea why this happens?
