Mods keep getting removed from my save file

Every time I save a game and exit everything is intact, but when I reload the game the mods I setup are removed from my save file. I don't know why it keeps doing this but if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated?

When you reload the modded save file, are you reloading after going through the Mods menu, making sure all of the right mods are still selected? Or are you trying to load the modded save file directly from the main game menu?

The latter approach doesn't work. You have to do the former -- more clicks, but it's what you have to do.
