Ah, there was that movie... ah, I can't remember. Hm.... It was about some guy... and some gal... and some bad guys..... why can't I remember?

a sword and sandals movie I saw when I was about 5, it inspired me to draw tons of pictures. Basically, there were the guys in red fighting the guys in black, Roman style gear. In the end, about 80 guys in black are surrounded, and killed by a hail of arrows. There were some cool war scenes, like flaming logs rolling down a hill into the army of red guys.

I was 5 in about 1982, so the movie was pre-1982.

I though it was called "300 spies", and based off the battle of marathon, but I cant find it on Google.

I have one I "remember" watching long ago, but all I can recall is a shoot-out on some dock, and I believe a seaplane was tied up at the dock. Oh and I estimate a 10% chance this is from a TV show and a 25% I am making the whole thing up.
