Is that a Mongolian unit on the bottom at 0:59?
Looks like it, there´s a Dutch naval unit in the upper right corner too

You seem to be able to get a lot of trade routes. Portugal had at least 12 in the screen they showed.
There's an odd detail. Maybe all civs aren't X Empire anymore, but change depending on... policy trees/titles, maybe?Does the fact that it says "Zulu Kingdom" mean something?

I assume it requires the other civ to agree before u can do a trade route, right?

I see they used Germany again in one of their videos. I know it's probably nothing, but I do feel Germany is going to get some sort of overhaul.
I'm hoping they change that; having to wait for Open Borders until the Medieval era really sucks.I don't think Open Borders are necessary since you won't be able to have any routes with other civs until you get Civil Service.
It appear so, yes. Also, does the East India Company replace the National Treasury?

Good point!Having open borders gives you a bonus to trade with that civ, not a requirement
For those that don't want to spend too much time choosing their trade routes, there's this screen:
Just order it by income, select whichever is on top, and go on your merry way!
Those that wish to carefully choose their trade routes can also study the ones available to them. They can easily see all the effects each trade route has, so they can tailor them for diplomatic, religious, or scientific benefits.
I wonder what's the last column however...
Holy cow. Look at the discrepancy between the gold Portugal is earning per trade route vs. the parter. 20 : 2.
