Hate to break it to you but I belive those games have been inactive for quite some time. The host may have forgotten/lost interest in them.
I am trying to get a game going for new players and if you are truly serious about trying out GMR I'd love to invite you.
A not serious enough player left on the first turn and if you take his spot you will be playing as rome.
