Next War: remove mech graphics on all units?

i am having a problem with my units: once i have built my first Assault Mech unit, most or all of my units for the rest of the game will have a "mech unit" hovering over them. is there any way to fix this? i love the mod, it just annoys the hells out of me.

This happens to me too. Its quite funny having a mech standing on top of your helicopter but after a while it does get old. I reinstalled the game and it stopped but there is probably another way to fix it.

why not?! it's an awesome mod! it significantly increases the replayability of Civ4

I love Next War, particularly in combination with Earth 18 Civs. Anyway, I find this bug fixes itself when a unit is moved between cities, though it is pretty funneh when it happens to a fighter on air superiority

To really fix it, you have to activate the animations in the BtS graphic menu.
The problem is that the mech version for low graphic settings has a bug itself, which leads to these strange results.
