In the patch i noticed that the chop rate was reduce to 20 hammers, and plus 50% with mathematics

Has this messed up anyones statergys?

Do you think this is a good or bad fix?

Adapt or be obselete.

And those people who abused it for an easy win are the ones who miss it the most.

I abused it, and I still use it to a lesser extent. I don't care how many forests it takes, if I get my settler out early on and plant it right beside a copper or iron resource, my strategy is sound no matter the sacrifice. I won't need to make a second settler after that if I have a neighbour nearby, since I can just take their cities.

The only difference is now I won't be chop rushing my way to the Oracle. Not much of a loss, since I can just cottage spam to make up for the loss of a free tech.

It was plain and simple cheesy. Good riddance!

I'll stick with old patch.
