I initially had black blotches on the map and the movies would freeze but after upgrading the nvidia drivers to latest from October to support DX 9.0C I've had no serious problems since, other than real slow game play on the larger maps, and the memory leak, of course. I was thinking of upgrading the card as it only has 64 MB ram but after reading this thread I'll stick to what works and should consider myself lucky that it works as well as it does.
