Basic mafia rules
There are at least two sides in this game: the town, the mafia, and maybe also someone else.
Each day or night phase (with exeption of day 1) will last approximately 24 hours.
Votes have to be made like this:
Vote: Jarema
When you want to switch your vote, you have to do it like this:
Unvote: Jarema; Vote: Mr. Host
Please remember to BOLD YOUR VOTES! UNBOLDED VOTES WILL NOT BE COUNTED!
You're allowed to vote "abstain"; voting "no lynch" will be counted as an abstain vote.
Regardless of your role, you are supposed to be active in the thread. Not voting for 3 days in a row will be dealt with by WoG.
If you can no longer play for whatever reason, please inform the host and he'll try to find a replacement.
Roles of the dead will not be revealed, but aligment will.
Communication outside of the gamethread is allowed.
Do not quote PMs from host or other players.
Special rules.
Dead players are forbidden from communicating with living
!!!! Player cannot say who is his pair, nor hint about it. If someone does, he would be WoG-ed, as it will spoil a game for others. People can try to learn what are other pairs, they just cannot talk about their own. You can tell whatever you want about dead characters (i. e. everyone can claim that there are theirs pair).
Setting.
Majority of players will start a game as a member of a pair. Both players in each pair would know, that the other person is innocent. Players starting in pairs will not have any other abilities.
Some players start as a someone different than a member of a pair. But it is minority of players.
After death of one of pair members, the second one is given a status of 'lonely townie'. With this status he gains one of following abilities (chosen at random, no ability can be given twice):
i. One-shot vigilante
ii. Bodyguard – can protect, but if protected character is attacked, bodyguard dies
iii. Roleblocker – have ability to block another person. Two uses
iv. Lucky – first night attack against you only wounds you
v. Hideout – for one night you are immune to night kills. Two uses
vi. Double voter – has second, secret vote
vii. Taxi driver – has ability of a bus driver, usable twice
viii. Provoker – at night when you use it, ALL night actions are redirected at you
ix. Vengeful – at night after being lynched, you can choose one of characters voting for you to die
Remember, DONT tell (or even hint) who is second member of your pair! Do not also tell who IS NOT member of your pair! You can say such things only about dead players.
