pbem 'Kappa' proposed v1.61

I'd like to play. I'm just got into my first game awhile back, but have learned that you can play several of these PBEM games with the length of time you have between moves. I'm running 1.74 and ready for my turn.

After a dreadful start, brought on by barbarian stuffed villages, the Indians claw their way back through trading.

However, our scouts return deeply envious comments about the infrastructural development of other tribes.
They also guess all villages are long since discovered (but not by us)

It will be a long haul.

And we are still many turns away from mines for axemen :scared:

On what is truly a huge continent, only one tribe has eluded me.

A big hand for DogBoy who's doing a tour of duty in Iraq! [And still keeping up on his PBEM game(s)] Unfortunately for him (fortunate for us), he doesn't have access to CivFanatics over there and cannot read any more strategy/tactic articles. So where's the game? I was used to getting it back almost evey day.

I am in another game with Dogboy, and we made three turns yesterday.....

Bursts of a turn a day are very enjoyable, but if you look back at the thread you'll see it's not perennial.

I rate a good game at anything equal or better than 2-3 turns per week.

We meet a new and unanticipated tribe.

The Indians know a multitude of tribes,
but yet we have not met everyone.

The site of our next city, for commerce and the supply of horses,
is about to be scooped by our nearest neighbours.

We have a serious problem.

Noble, huge epic fractal +14 ai.

We meet another tribe, but still we have not met everyone.

Our warriors spy some hilltop barbarian axemen, and sportingly start to lead them towards our neighbouring interlopers

We finally mine some copper, and our first axeman is in training.

We now have a settler available, but with no productive place to go,
so swordsmen are in preparation for our encroached neighbours.

Our scouts report we are a deeply backward tribe,
in terms of the number of towns we possess.
