I have been playing warlords pitboss with my friend and everything has been working great until 1812 A.D. I am hosting pitboss on one machine and playing on another, and he is connecting over the internet. My router is set up to forward the port to the pitboss server.
In 1812, all of a sudden, he can no longer get into the game: it connects and he picks the race, but after entering the race password, it either gives the spinning hourglass or a message "we have lost our connection to the host."
I tried connecting remotely (from another ISP) to both of our civs and did not have any problem. I also tried restarting pitboss.
Any ideas? I'm confused because 1) it used to work and 2) it's connecting part way before stalling
