Summary: We kill three SABER armor and make our stand to defend The Gulag. The battle log we get from SABER will determine whether any more turns get played. If SABER takes The Gulag and destroys our space ship there is no point in doing anything but conceding.
  • FREE sends us three workers, 950 gold and their world map. We accept and send them our world map and music theory. Perhaps they can compose an appropriate ballad.
  • The Igloo, The Squeeze, The Aerie and The Arboretum riot. The last two build tactical nukes.
  • The Whale Pond builds a library.
  • We have one jet and one privateer left for our EWS:
  • Privateer moves N-4NE.
  • Don't need the jet for EWS so it tries to bomb the SABER armor next to The Gulag and misses. :blush:
  • Most workers that can do so build or begin building roads.
  • Join a new FREEdom worker to The Gulag. The other two move N-2NW. :hmm: There are roads under that goo! ATTACK!!!
  • 4/4 armor kills 4/4 armor SE of The Gulag. Ours is redlined.
  • Build radar tower 2E of The Gulag.
  • 4/4 armor loses 1 hp and kills armor 2NW of The Chamber.
  • Build radar tower on the iron hill.
  • 4/4 armor dies inflicting 1 hp damage on armor 2S of The Gulag.
  • 4/4 armor dies inflicting 1 hp damage on armor 2S of The Gulag which gets promoted.
  • 4/4 armor loses two hps killing the 3/5 armor 2S of The Gulag.
  • Airlifted the last FREEdom worker and the mech inf from the Tujana area.
  • Airlifted a mobile SAM from Old Gong Isle.
  • Moved the surviving 1/4 armor and the stack of 8 armor (5 vets and 3 regular) into The Gulag.
  • Moved new nukes closer to roads. :rolleyes:
  • Moved other nuke and marine onto oil NE of The Igloo, along with a worker/FREEdom worker pair that can build a road next turn (hopefully).
  • Moved a vet armor S-SE of The Gulag and 2 vet armor onto the dyes N of The Treasury.
  • Moved the rest of our armor to the mountain S-SW of The Silo.
  • We have 602 shields in The Silo and sow 13 more turns with one engineer working.
  • We killed three of the six armor and one is in The Chamber and cannot reach The Gulag. We can see two other armor that can reach The Gulag. It all depends on whether our defenders can survive the SABER nukes and bombers. Well, we'll know when we get SABER's battle log.
  • I don't see anything we can spend our gold on nor do I see a reason to mobilize.
  • Switched The Arboretum to a settler. Oops, now I can't switch it back to a tactical nuke. :(
  • We have 1019 gold and are running a 15gpt deficit. Smart weapons in 38 turns.

Summary: SABER captured The Gulag and destroyed our spaceship. It's all over now but the shouting. We go down fighting and nuke SABER's armor. We continue to work on the engine.

The Arboretum produces a settler.

Jet recons NW of The Treasury.
Workers build roads.
Our three tactical nukes take out all the forward SABER units.
We build The Beach House on our southwest coast. It begins working on fuel cells. 54 turns.
Three wounded mech infantry advance towards The Gulag.
We have 605 shields in the bin in The Silo and show the engine in 12 turns with an engineer.
We hurry a tank in The Red Tape for 324g.
We still have a spy in SABERland but no Intelligence center so I guess we can't use the spy (except to look at SABER's military).
We have 688g and are making 34gpt. Smart weapons in 37 turns.
