I'm going to preface this similar to Rabbit, White's thread...

Please Read and Head Before Posting

I have a very limited amount of time now to work on units, so would like to make every one count. I'd like most (if not all) of my newer units to come from requests. That in mind, keep reading:

Please include the following in your request:
1. Quick description
2. Links to several pictures (for texture colors/ideas)
3. 3-sided view (Similar to this)

The most important of these is the 3-sided view, it's very difficult to get started without one.

The next thread will be a list of which units I'm currently working on, and any progress.

We of course would love anything futuristic. Steve Jackson's Ogre game / miniatures would be a great jumping-off point. Here are links to a professional game artist who's posted 3D models he's designed (maybe you could just get those from him directly if they are in the right format) --

Not sure what to suggest about skin / paint jobs. These were a series of miniatures, so there are all sorts of examples out there, e.g.

GEV (Pan-Euro)
GEV (Galahad)
Tank, Heavy
Ogre Mark IV
... I have to say most of them look pretty nasty (no offense, miniature painters!)

I would think that for futuristic combat, an Urban camouflage job would be more appropriate.

Anything you could do would be awesome, but of these the GEV and the Ogre are, being more unique, probably most needed.

Also, if it's possible to mod the AT-ST to be more like a 'Mech, e.g. the Madcat, that would be awesome too!

btw, Smitty, may I ask what happens after you ship out? Will you be somewhere quite far from a modding computer?

Wherever you go, be safe!

In early June I goto 6 weeks of school down south, then off to work 'overseas' (not the desert though) - I will have access to a computer, I just don't know how much time I'll have to use it.

Could you do the Chinese Type 99 too? (Best views I could find, along with a color scheme Link)

A Grumman F-14 Tomcat belonging to one of the "Jolly Rogers" squadrons of the US Navy (Pictures below). Preferably, one of the glorious colored patterns from the 70s-80s.

Why? Because they're still one of the sexiest aircraft ever, even though they're decommissioned now.

VF-84 was decommissioned years ago, but the "Jolly Rogers" name was transferred to the still-active VF-103. Right now, '103 has converted to the F/A-18F. But here's some stuff from the Tomcat days for '103.

For various other Tomcat commands, here was a good starting place.
Also found a forum thread for a bunch of Tomcat pictures here.
Lastly, here's a pic for the dimensions you asked for: Tomcat Dimensions
