Quick Combat for Scenarios?

Hi all,

Is there a way to enable quick combat for the 'rise of the mongols' scenario? The game doesn't have the option in an obvious place. Is is possible to modify a config file to accomplish this? There's no way I'm going to attempt this scenario at a high difficulty level without quick combat. It's painful.

For that scenario, the strategic view is a godsend. Not only is it really useful in such a war-centric game, but it also always has quick combat on.

try this too... close the game and find game's config.ini. Which should be in Your documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5. Open it with a notepad and find this:
; Set to 1 to disable Combat system
Combat = 0

Change 0 to 1, save the file and start the game.
