Religous Settlers

I recently noticed one of my settlers had a religion, the same way all units have a chance to get a religion. I thought it would be a nice perk if that religion automatically spread to the city founded by the settler.

It didn't though, which is why I'm suggesting it here.

There was a Settler Religion Mod for vanilla Civ a while back (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=145729), but I don't think anyone ever did a BtS version.

I know Sevo initially incorporated it into his SevoMod (or maybe it was called Fusion Mod?), but decided to remove it because it caused religions to spread much too quickly.

From what I heard those mods made the settlers start with the state religion, not whatever religion it happens to be assigned. Plus, religions can be removed in FfH.

So long as this only applied to those settlers who started with a religion, I'd be all for it.

Doesn't FF give something like 60% chance for the new unit to have your state religion (if possible). Wow talk about the ease of spreading the word of leaves all throughout my elven lands.
