Proposal to change Trade Routes

Trade Depots allow Routes.

Each Route must either
1. Go to a Station
OR
2. carry a Basic Resource that the city has improved (so a city with 2 Resilin and 1 Algae resource can send 3 total routes.. 2 Resilin routes, and 1 Algae route)

Type of Yield for the trade route would depend on the type of resource and whether it is foreign or domestic

Domestic:
Food-Tubers, Algae, Chitin, Fruit, Fungus
Production-Basalt, Gold, Copper, Silica, Fiber, Resilin, Coral

Foreign:
Energy-Algae, Fiber, Copper, Chitin, Gold, Basalt
Science-Fungus, Resilin, Coral, Silica, Fruit, Tubers

Yield of the route depends on whether the receiving city has the resource locally or from another trade route.
Domestic Receiving city: 2
-without another source of the resource- +4+5% of base yield sending AND receiving city (keep decimals)
Domestic Sending city: 0
-If receiving city does not have another source of the resource- +5% of sending city's base yield (keep decimals)


Foreign Receiving city: 1
-without another source of the resource- +2+5% of base yield sending AND receiving city (keep decimals)
Foreign Sending city: 1
-If receiving city does not have another source of the resource- +2+Smaller of(10% of sending city's base yield OR 5% of base yield sending AND receiving city)

This way there is
1. reason to search for basic resources
2. basic resources will affect that entire city's development... a city with algae benefits more from farms and generators, a city with resilin benefits more from manufacturies and academies
3. you need to distribute those resources around to get the best benefits (3 cities with resilin should not send those all to the same city.)
4. it is still worthwhile building a super city (a new resource best goes to the biggest city)
5. Foreign trade doesn't produce inflated values from AI bonuses..although you still want to send it to the AI city that is as big as yours.



Routes to Outposts could have an actual Cost... ie City X Loses a certain amount of food/energy/production/science and the outpost grows 50% faster.
